Changing how the World Buys Cars – ZeroLight Present Latest Technology at Web Summit 2015

Web Summit visitors will have unique opportunity to digitally explore and configure the Pagani Huayra supercar using showroom and web technology that is changing automotive retail

GATESHEAD, England--()--ZeroLight, creator of the world’s most advanced 3D car configurator have confirmed their attendance as an exhibitor at this year’s Web Summit, taking place in Dublin, November 3rd - 5th.

The UK tech company has empowered major car brands to digitalise their customer journey and adapt to changing consumer trends. The result is a more cost-effective and engaging car buying experience, promoting higher specification purchases and offering customers a way to explore and configure the exact car they are buying. The technology is a response to increasing expectations of the digital generation who demand more from the showroom and website experience.

This year ZeroLight announced partnerships with Audi and Italian supercar manufacturer Pagani. With several unannounced clients in the sector, their catalogue includes prior virtual showroom projects for Jaguar Land Rover.

The car industry’s keen interest for ZeroLight is due to the ‘tech heavy, asset light’ nature of the solution. Real-time 3D technology presents a live, interactive 3D car to the customer via a wide range of formats including Ultra HD 4K displays, interactive touch screens, tablets, virtual reality headsets and web. Customers utilise the technology to explore a manufacturer’s entire catalogue of cars and configure them to their exact specifications, creating ‘their car’ over a standard showroom model. The configurator solution works across multiple devices in and out of the showroom, delivering consistency regardless of location. By utilising the Cloud, OEM’s can update their virtual showrooms without waiting for a physical model to be available.

ZeroLight CEO Darren Jobling believes that his company’s technology will play a pivotal role in the digitalisation of car sales, with forward thinking brands expected to devote 20-30% of showroom space to digital experiences by the end of 2016. “Web Summit is the ideal venue to showcase our technology and share our innovations with the tech world. ZeroLight will be right at home alongside the other disruptive and exciting technology companies attending.”

ZeroLight will showcase their advanced 3D configurator solutions at booth M813, team members are available throughout the summit for interviews, Q&As and demonstrations. For more information contact jason.collins@zerolight.com.
