Julian Casablancas, who, as part of Julian Casablancas+TheVoidz serves as CraveOnline’s September Guest Editor, will DJ the site’s highly anticipated relaunch party.
With a striking design overhaul, the recently unveiled relaunch marks a significant shift in editorial direction, led by newly-appointed Executive Editor, Andrew Pogany, who formerly served as Editor-in-Chief of Flaunt Magazine. Complementing CraveOnline’s massively popular music coverage, new content channels have been added for culture, art, design and style. CraveOnline will now focus solely on the 25-34 year-old male demographic.
Starting with CraveOnline.com’s September Guest Editor, Julian Casablancas serving as DJ for the evening, guests of the official relaunch celebration will be fully immersed in the new site. The exclusive event will include hor d'oeuvres by Brooklyn-based, Bon Chovie, who was featured on CraveOnline’s Nosh Pit—a premium video series that profiles notable chefs and restauranteurs with strong neighborhood ties and distinct culinary offerings. Similarly, the event’s signature cocktail will be the Moscow Mule; the classic cocktail is showcased in this month’s edition of Mix it Up, CraveOnline’s editorial series that showcases the history, ingredients, and recipe of a different classic cocktail each month.
