DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--D.A. Davidson & Co., a full-service national investment banking firm, announced today that it has hired Chris Rockers to join its growing investment banking team as managing director in the firm’s energy practice.

Rockers joins D.A. Davidson in Denver with over 15 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, principally in the oil and gas and energy sectors. His experience includes co-founder of ESC Solutions, where he directed mergers and acquisitions for oilfield services companies. He began his career in energy at Cornerstone Holdings, where he led a multi-company roll-up acquisition strategy to create Magna Energy Services. Previously, he worked on financing and M&A advisory with a variety of firms, including Alpina Capital, FTI Consulting and Falkenberg Capital. Rockers earned his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University, his MBA from the University of Denver, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
