The one-day conference will focus on the latest advancements in protein engineering and the innovative technologies that are enhancing the next generation of biotherapeutics and products. The 2015 Protein Engineering Symposium will be held at the South San Francisco Conference Center, and online registration is open through September 30. The event is expected to again be one of the largest gathering of protein engineers in the Bay Area.
The symposium is designed to benefit scientists currently working in the biopharmaceutical industry who want to improve their awareness of the latest advancements in protein engineering, antibody discovery, and biotherapeutics, as well as non-scientists who seek a better understanding of the processes, challenges and opportunities in the industry.
Presentations will focus on breakthroughs in antibody expression as well as protein and antibody development and discovery. An exhibition hall will host major biotechnology product suppliers, and a poster session featuring submissions from industry and academia leaders will round out the day’s agenda.
This year’s attendees include the Bay Area’s leading protein engineering scientists representing Stanford, UCSF, UC Berkeley, Bayer, Gilead, Genentech, NGM, Sutro Biopharma and numerous other Bay Area biotech companies.
