Vantage Data Centers Expands Sales Team With Hire of Veteran Silicon Valley Data Center Executive

Joe Goldsmith will serve as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--()--Vantage Data Centers, a leading provider of data center solutions in support of mission critical applications, today announced that it is adding veteran sales executive Joe Goldsmith to its leadership team. Goldsmith, who most recently spent nine years as a vice president at Digital Realty Trust, will assume the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Vantage.

Goldsmith will be based out of the company’s Santa Clara, CA headquarters. As demand for state-of-the-art data center space continues to grow, particularly in Silicon Valley, ensuring a local point of contact for customer interface is increasingly important.

A 25-year industry veteran, Goldsmith most recently served as Vice President of sales at Digital Realty Trust, where he was part of the management team that grew the company’s annual revenue from approximately $200 million to over $1.5 billion. Prior to Digital Realty Trust, Goldsmith held sales and sales management roles at Qwest, COLO.COM, FiberTower and Pacific Bell.

Greg Vernon, Senior Vice President, Sales, will be moving into a new role as Senior Vice President, Business Development where he will lead key strategic accounts and partnerships.
