BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GenomeQuest, Inc. today announced that the company has officially changed its name to GQ Life Sciences, Inc., effective immediately. This change comes on the heels of the company’s successful launch of its second product, LifeQuest.
Now a two-product company, GQ Life Sciences retains the use of the GenomeQuest brand to refer to its flagship product for searching intellectual property that contains DNA, RNA, and protein sequences. Accompanying GenomeQuest, the LifeQuest product provides a broader conceptual search in the life science industry.
“We are excited to emphasize the strong brand recognition of the GenomeQuest product alongside the introduction of our new LifeQuest software by changing our corporate identity to allow both brands to exist at the same level,” said Richard Resnick, Chief Executive Officer. “This corporate name change reflects our commitment to adding new products and services that delight our customers while preserving and enhancing those upon which they’ve come to depend.”
