PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Revitas, Inc., the leader in revenue acceleration, has opened registration for the 2016 Revitas Industry Summit: Life Sciences, to be held April 18-20, 2016 at the Four Seasons Baltimore. This year’s event theme, “Chart Your Course,” will examine the dynamic clinical, regulatory, and global business landscape affecting the life sciences industry and provide the strategies and best practices that will empower pharmaceutical organizations to optimize revenue management and business outcomes.
“The Revitas Industry Summit: Life Sciences brings together more than 250 practitioners, managers, executives, and industry experts to collaborate, share best practices, and gain insights into complex industry issues that shape organizational contracting, revenue management, and compliance operations,” said Jon Smith, Vice President, Alliances and Business Development for Revitas. “Armed with the correct processes, the right tools, and a forward-looking strategy, pharmaceutical companies can navigate this era of significant transformation, remain competitive, and increase growth.”
The 2016 Revitas Industry Summit: Life Sciences will deliver a comprehensive schedule of thought leadership discussions, best practice sessions, interactive workshops, and user forums to equip life sciences professionals with actionable insights about the critical issues facing the marketplace, including Affordable Care Act regulations, government pricing, Medicaid Drug Rebate Program compliance, prescription-level data validation, reallocation challenges, managed care optimization, shifting global market dynamics, and more. Sessions will sift through the complexity of the pharmaceutical landscape and help attendees chart a clear course to accelerate revenue, support growth, and reduce risk.
Cameron Tew, Executive Director of Research, Publishing, Marketing and Advisory Services for Best Practices, LLC, will kick off the event on Tuesday, April 19 with a keynote on big data. Tew has extensive pharmaceutical industry, research, and product expertise, and for more than a decade has worked closely with pharmaceutical organizations to help improve their commercial operations.
The Summit’s second keynote will be delivered by former Major League Baseball player and motivational speaker Jim Abbott. Despite being born without a right hand, Abbott had a successful baseball career, pitching in the major leagues for 10 years and earning a gold medal with the U.S. Olympic Team in 1988. He later went on to work with The Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) on several initiatives encouraging businesses to hire people with disabilities.
Early-bird registration is available now and will remain open until Dec. 31, 2015. For more information or to register for the 2016 Revitas Industry Summit: Life Sciences, visit www.RevitasSummit.com.
