DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clough Global Equity Fund (the “Fund”) announced today the voting results of its 2015 annual shareholder meeting held on July 28, 2015.
All of the Fund’s incumbent Trustees were re-elected. In addition, the shareholder proposal requesting that the Board of Trustees of the Fund authorize a self-tender offer for all outstanding common shares of Fund was defeated. Of the shares present and entitled to vote on the shareholder proposal, 21.7% voted for the proposal.

The Fund is a closed-end fund utilizing the Advisor’s research-driven, thematic process, with an investment objective of providing a high level of total return.
