The key was leveraging PCG’s Visibility & Analytics to pinpoint high out-of-stock items at the highest volume stores. Exception based reporting then helped the baker to quickly identify opportunities for improvement in replenishment. The baker was then able to optimize orders to ensure the right amount of product would be available for the shopper, while at the same time trimming product returns by 11%.
