AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apto Solutions, an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) company and leader in enterprise IT, is giving back to the community by donating used Dell brand computers to SCORE, a nonprofit organization in Austin, Texas. The organization will use the equipment to enable their team of 45 volunteers to continue to mentor small business leaders (especially women and veterans) 6 days per week.
“Without these computers, our assistance to the Austin small business entrepreneurs would be very difficult and limited,” says Carelton Smith, Assistant District Director of SCORE South Texas. “We are very thankful for the new computers from Apto!”
SCORE Austin works with over 1,800 clients every year, helping them succeed in their business and marketing plans. Last year alone, the company created 608 new businesses and almost 400 new jobs in the Austin area. Through the computers provided by Apto, SCORE can review their clients online presence, conduct competitor and market research, and develop the company’s own workshop materials.
“SCORE is doing amazing work promoting entrepreneurship and leadership,” says James Kilkelly, CEO of Apto Solutions. “The education and mentorship they provide their clients has a huge impact on their community and we’re honored to be able to play a part.”
