ALLOVER MEDIA ACQUIRES PRIME POINT MEDIA; FORMS NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH DOLEX DOLLAR EXPRESS, INC.
New strategic offerings expand multi-cultural and lifestyle touch points and enhance consumer engagement capabilities
AllOver Media, Inc. (AOM), the largest alternative out-of-home advertising platform in the United States, today announced the purchase of Prime Point Media, a leader in high visibility urban kiosks and kiosk advertising. In addition, AOM has entered into an exclusive partnership with DolEx Dollar Express, Inc. (DolEx®), a leading provider of money transfer services to Mexico and Latin America. DolEx owns and operates the largest company-owned store network offering financial and communication services focused on the fast growing Hispanic market in the USA.
“The addition of Prime Point Media and DolEx to the AOM portfolio allows us to bring customers greater access to major metropolitan and urban marketplaces and boost multi-cultural consumer engagement,” said Tony Jacobson, CEO and Founder of AllOver Media. “These new relationships also reinforce AOM’s status as the largest provider of not only Out-of-Home advertising, but also expands our capabilities to reach multicultural consumers nationwide. We will continue to build our platform to reach on the go consumers throughout the country.”
The acquisition of Prime Point Media expands AOM’s presences in high visibility kiosk advertising at more than 23,000 urban kiosks nationwide, including 340 military base locations. Concentrated mainly in the top 30 DMAs across the U.S., urban kiosks provide another platform to engage consumers within their daily lives through the placement of customizable campaigns that reach multi-cultural audiences, target point-of-purchase locations and access consumers who are generally underserved in branded messaging. Customers include top retailers McDonalds, Starbucks, Coke and Pampers; Prime Point Media also serves public agencies to aid in promoting public health initiatives aimed at urban audiences. Financial details of the transaction are not being disclosed.
Effective September 1, 2015, AOM, one of the largest media providers in the branded cash jacket marketplace, will form an exclusive partnership with DolEx. DolEx maintains a 20-year track record with more than 530 Hispanic-focused, proprietary, retail locations and over 1,800 third party agent locations in more than 30 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. DolEx offers money transfer services to more than 35 countries, and their branches can be found as stand-alones, in grocery stores and in multi-service stores across the U.S. Their branches also offer telephony products and services, money orders, bill payments, check cashing services and more. Top DMAs include Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, New York, Chicago and Phoenix.
“Since our origination in 2002, AllOver Media has successfully developed and deployed a diverse set of advertising mediums at high-traffic indoor and outdoor locations throughout the United States,” added Jacobson. “We have established a reputation as a top innovator in advertising products, and we serve thousands of customers nationwide.”
