ansarada Releases New Version of Popular M&A Game

App has Multi-player Feature and Streamlined Selling for Quicker Play

NEW YORK--()--The M&A Game is getting personal – the App, that is! Launched in 2014 by leading virtual data room provider ansarada, the M&A Game is a virtual reality world in which players can buy, sell and merge their way to corporate domination. The latest version, released today, allows players to challenge colleagues, friends or even “frenemies” to a merger/acquisition battle.

In ansarada’s M&A Game, players create their own customized avatar, select a set of personality traits (such as charisma, leadership, strength and deception), choose a name for their corporation, then go to work building an empire— buying, selling and merging businesses across different industry sectors. The game rose to quick success in 2014 and now boasts more than 38,000 players from countries all around the world.

Players negotiate using a range of tactics including flattery and bullying and have to deal with corporate issues such as wage rises, market crashes and even falling satellites.

“The response we’ve had to the M&A Game since it launched has been phenomenal,” said Sam Riley, CEO of ansarada. “And just like we built ansarada from the ground up based on direct feedback from bankers, advisors and attorneys, we have responded to the player community to continually improve the M&A Game experience.”

The new version of the app (M&A Game V3) boasts the following new cool Multi-player features:

  • Private or Public game mode – Players can set up private (invitation-only) or public games with unlimited participants
  • Competition Objectives – Players compete for one of three objectives: Highest Net Worth, Most 5 Star Deals or Most Companies.
  • Duration Settings – Games can be set with start and end times in duration segments of one day, three days or one week.

Since its launch in January 2014, the ansarada M&A Game has attracted players who have to date notched more than 450,000 sessions with over 28 million screen views. The M&A Game has its largest number of players in the US, followed by the UK, Indonesia, Australia and Canada.

Developed by leading Australian play agency 3RDSENSE, the ansarada M&A Game is available for all iOS and Android devices, and can be downloaded for free via Apples’s App Store and Google Play.
