Dixon Ticonderoga Co. Expands Headquarters, Creates New Jobs

Plans to Re-locate National Museum Included

LAKE MARY, Fla.--()--Dixon Ticonderoga Co., the world’s leading manufacturer of quality writing and art supplies, including the iconic No. 2 pencil, will expand its headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida with a capital investment of $1.5 million over the next three years. The expansion will create at least 20 new high-skilled and high-wage manufacturing jobs in the region, according to CEO Timothy M. Gomez.

As an international corporation and long-time valued Florida employer, Dixon Ticonderoga Co. received enthusiastic support from state, regional and local government agencies. The legendary education supply company collaborated on the expansion project with Enterprise Florida, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, CareerSource Florida and CareerSource Central Florida, City of Lake Mary, Seminole County, Seminole State College, and the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission.
