ZeOmega Chief Strategy Officer Nandini Rangaswamy Named to Dallas Business Journal’s 2015 “Who’s Who in Health Care”

Company co-founder included in annual list recognizing healthcare innovators and leaders

PLANO, Texas--()--ZeOmega® Inc. co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Nandini Rangaswamy has been named as one of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2015 “Who’s Who in Health Care” honorees. She joins 30 Dallas-Fort Worth healthcare executives chosen for this year’s list, which represents a wide array of visionaries and leaders who are making significant impacts to the healthcare industry.

Long before the Affordable Care Act came to fruition, Rangaswamy recognized the need for alignment of payer, provider and patient incentives in order to improve the healthcare outcomes and reduce costs. This vision resulted in ZeOmega’s evolution as the largest provider of population health management solutions for payers, providers and patients. She continues to guide the company through the disruptive changes occurring in healthcare, successfully positioning the company to become the most innovative solutions provider in the industry today with solutions capable of transforming healthcare organizations into value-based healthcare organizations. Currently, Jiva serves nearly 10 percent of the U.S. insured population besides reaching thousands of providers and hospitals across its client base.

“I am honored to join this noteworthy Dallas Business Journal list that includes so many distinguished healthcare executives in North Texas who are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to the healthcare industry,” said Rangaswamy. “It is my privilege to be able to collaborate with ZeOmega’s team of innovators and deliver solutions that empower providers, payers and other industry stakeholders to help improve patients’ health, identify care gaps, and reduce costs. It is fulfilling to be part of a company whose powerful solutions are positively impacting the lives of millions of individuals.”

In selecting those honored on this year’s list of “Who’s Who in Health Care,” the Dallas Business Journal reviews each honoree based on their contributions to Dallas-Fort Worth healthcare over the past year and to the healthcare industry across their career. This evaluation includes nominees’ major accomplishments and innovations in their field, demonstrated leadership in their field, and the roles they have held in both professional and civic organizations. After analyzing all this information, the Dallas Business Journal then selects nominees who show the strongest depth of contribution, innovation, leadership and growth.

“The Dallas Business Journal is thrilled to recognize such an outstanding group of health care professionals this year,” said associate editor Michelle Saunders. “These professionals are providing much-needed innovation, affecting positive change and helping to establish North Texas as an industry leader.”

Under Rangaswamy’s leadership, ZeOmega has been named for the past four years as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North Texas by the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), and for the second consecutive year, ZeOmega was named to the 2014 SMU Cox Dallas 100™, a list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas area.

On a national scope, ZeOmega was named to the 2014 Inc. 500|5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. – the second consecutive year of making that prestigious list – and for the third consecutive year, it was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list in 2014 as one of the top 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.

Prior to starting ZeOmega, Rangaswamy worked at Accenture in the Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions Group, which involved advising clients on M&A strategy, identifying and valuing potential acquisition candidates, analyzing deals, and conducting due diligence. Her work also included prioritizing performance improvement initiatives for clients through assessment of economic impact of operational and financial value drivers. Before transitioning into management consulting, Rangaswamy supervised key IT projects at both The Sabre Group and Abbott Laboratories.

Rangaswamy earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University.
