NEWPORT NEWS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Perfect Commerce today announced it has been issued an award for eProcurement with the State of Missouri to fully automate all 16 State Agencies and political subdivisions in the State (universities, counties, townships, airports, etc.) to bring greater efficiency and transparency to buyers and vendors in the source-to-pay process. The contract term is for ten years.
Under the agreement, Perfect’s WebProcure solution will provide end-to-end software development, delivery and implementation across the State’s Agencies, to include: Vendor Management, Solicitations, Order Management, Contracts and Invoicing. The system will ultimately support 3000-5000 users.
“The State has been evaluating eProcurement solutions for more than two years, completing a thorough survey of the market and speaking to many other state and local governments who have gone through similar efforts,” said Michael Ereli, Vice President, Customer Care, Perfect Commerce. “The State’s selection of Perfect as their preferred solution strengthens our belief that WebProcure is one of the strongest, most robust eProcurement solutions in the market today.”
WebProcure implementation benefits to the State:
- Superior process efficiency of requisitions, solicitations, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and receipt of goods
- Reduction of manual effort required to procure and pay for goods/services
- Enhanced, easy-to-use reporting and business intelligence
- Improved ease of identifying existing contracts and ensuring contract compliance
- Enriched customer interaction with state agency users, political subdivision users, and vendors
“Perfect’s ability to implement the web-based solution across all State Agencies within 12 months was a key differentiator, as well as WebProcure’s ease-of-use and the completeness of the solution,” said Ereli. “Post-implementation, the State of Missouri will have one of the most technologically-advanced and efficient eProcurement systems in the country.”
