AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HCB Health, one of the nation’s top 25 independent healthcare advertising agencies, announced today that Greg Niemczyk has joined the agency as a vice president, account director/business development. Niemczyk will be based out of HCB Health’s Chicago office, and also shares responsibility for growing the agency’s client base. He will report directly to agency partner Nancy Beesley while working closely with Chicago’s President Al Topin.

Niemczyk comes to HCB from GSW, a noted healthcare advertising agency in the inVentiv Health network, and its oncology partner Navicor, as senior vice president, account director in the Columbus office. His contributions ranged from leading domestic and global teams in the immunology, oncology, nephrology, and pain categories, to generating new business that elevated both revenue and reputation for the agencies. His extensive integrated marketing experience spans professional to patient and pharmaceuticals to biologics, with a demonstrated ability to identify and decipher communication challenges among health care providers and patients.
Before joining GSW and Navicor, Niemczyk served as vice president, account director at AbelsonTaylor in Chicago, where he managed overall client-agency relationships and developed new business, leading to successful agency of record assignments. He began his 20-plus year pharmaceutical career in product management and sales with Marion Merrell Dow/Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, and received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
