SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS) has announced that America First Credit Union (America First) has transitioned over to the CFS roster of clients. As its new broker-dealer, CFS will help grow the America First investment program and expand technology offerings for its members. America First executives selected CFS because of its seamlessly-integrated technology systems, accessibility, and proven success in growing investment programs through collaboration and the application of best practices.
CFS is a full-service broker-dealer and SEC Registered Investment Adviser that provides customized investment and insurance solutions to credit unions. America First is a federally-chartered credit union headquartered in Ogden, Utah. Founded in 1939, America First has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the nation with over 700,000 members, almost $7 billion in assets and 110 branches in Utah and Nevada. The credit union’s 25 year-old investment program will operate under a managed model wherein CFS employs and manages the program managers and investment advisors. Currently, the program has over 6,000 clients and more than $300 million in assets under management.
“Providing quality member service is what we are known for and employing state-of-the-art technology solutions is one of the best ways for us to do that,” said Glen Olpin, senior vice president, treasurer, and chief economist at America First. “CFS has the same model, and they’ve proven they can help credit unions like ours offer advanced technology platforms that make life easier for advisors and members. We appreciate CFS software like My Portfolio View® which allows customers to see their credit union account balances and their investment portfolio on one screen through a single sign-on. It’s efficient and seamless. Our overall goal is for our members to look to us first for their investments and CFS will help us to do that.”
The America First investment program is led by Program Manager Ryan Tingey, along with 10 investment advisors and three unlicensed assistants.
