Metric Insights Announces Strong Customer Growth, Doubles Employee Headcount

Customers Include Microsoft, Adobe, Tesla, GE, Motorola, TomTom

New integrations with Tableau, Qlik®, MicroStrategy®

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Metric Insights, the business intelligence (BI) company that surfaces the right data at the right time for enterprise customers, today announced it witnessed significant company momentum in 2014 and the first quarter of 2015. More than 40 new customers adopted the Metric Insights platform, including Adobe, Microsoft and GE, leading to a revenue increase of more than 80 percent year-over-year. The company also doubled its employee headcount and hired Bill Kiriakis as vice president of Sales.

Metric Insights continues to expand, doubling its headcount from 22 in 2014 to 45 in 2015. Bill Kiriakis, formerly of cloud-based predictive intelligence software company, AgilOne, as well as Adobe Systems, Omniture, Coremetics and Airwalk, is driving strategic sales initiatives to increase national and international adoption of the Metric Insights platform. His hire comes on the heels of a $4.4M extended seed round by First Round Capital and Workbench Capital. Hyperion & Business Objects senior vice president, Jon Temple and Josh Kopelman, partner at First Round Capital also joined the Metric Insights board of directors.

Metric Insights now integrates with all major BI providers including tools from Tableau, Qlik, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Oracle and Microsoft. These strategic integrations are particularly valuable for providing a single source of truth in large enterprises, where different departments are siloed and tend to use different tools. Along with the BI integrations, Metric Insights has a library of plugins to SaaS applications, on-premise systems, and Big Data sources. Further integrations are on the horizon.

With the integrations with industry leading BI providers, Metric Insights is a particularly strong value-add for systems integrators and VARs, who can join Metric Insights’ new channel partner program, launched April 2015. Metric Insights launched its partner certification program and is actively recruiting new companies to join partners including InterWorks and BIBP.
