TITAN School Solutions Selects Gregory E. Freeman to Implement School Lunch Management Innovations in Arizona, Plans Fall 2015 Industry Blitz

Upstart school IT company adds industry veteran to power up two school districts with state-of-the-art school foodservice technology and support for the 2015-16 school year

ROSEVILLE, Calif.--()--TITAN School Solutions, a full-service company of K-12 school nutrition and administration experts, has recently signed agreements and already begun serving several separate Arizona school districts in advance of the 2015-2016 school year. TITAN is implementing its new web-based, proprietary solutions for Child Nutrition Management. To lead the installation and support, TITAN has hired Gregory E. Freeman as Implementation Consultant.

Freeman’s responsibilities include providing expert technical oversight and management throughout the software implementation and integration with the districts’ existing IT systems. He also serves as the districts’ primary point of contact for support services.

“Greg has a proven reputation as a highly-skilled, customer-focused professional,” said Bradley Blankenship, CEO of TITAN. “He brings to TITAN a wealth of K-12 industry experience and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering superior technology and support.”

After a soft launch at the California School Nutrition Association’s Annual Conference late last year, TITAN representatives began meeting with California and Arizona districts in early 2015.

Based on years in the industry and feedback received from across the U.S., TITAN executives have been presenting the relative strengths, protections and transparency that were identified as critical qualities for navigating and managing the increasingly-complex environment of child nutrition.

“There have just been so many changes to keep up with from the USDA,” said Gregory Freeman, referring to the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 (HHFKA 2010). Among its many provisions, HHFKA 2010 mandates that districts make resources readily available to apply for free and reduced price school meals. “I look forward to implementing this new turn-key solution that is affordable, proactive and offers real-time efficiencies. Students, parents and the district personnel all will benefit.”

Prior to joining TITAN School Solutions, Freeman worked for Harris School Solutions as an Application Consultant implementing eTriton.

According to Blankenship, understanding the magnitude of implementing new hardware and software district-wide, TITAN had aimed to be in contract with three K-12 districts before the end of 2015. “We knew the demand was there, and we are happy to be out and operational far ahead of expectations,” he said. “With Greg on board, we are able to serve even more new districts sooner than planned.”

With the Arizona districts fully functioning, TITAN plans to ramp up company visibility throughout fall 2015. Company representatives will be on hand demonstrating the TITAN’s industry-leading technology and unique, transparent pricing models at the 2015 Arizona School Nutrition Association Annual Conference (September 18-19, Phoenix, AZ) and the 2015 Eagle Software Aeries Fall Users' Conference (October 12-13, Sacramento, CA), before returning to the forum of last year’s company soft launch, the 2015 California School Nutrition Association Annual Conference (November 5-8, Ontario, CA).
