NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allianz Group’s specialist corporate insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) announced today that it has expanded its recently launched North American financial lines business with the appointment of three key new hires.
Joe Caruso joins as regional head of financial institutions North America. Jim Ilardi has been appointed regional head of financial lines claims in North America. Jennifer O’Neill is the new regional head of financial lines product development and international insurance programs (IIP) North America. Mr. Caruso and Ms. O’Neill report to Paul Schiavone, regional head of financial lines North America. Mr. Ilardi reports to Terry Campbell, regional head of claims North America. All positions are based in New York City.

Prior to joining Allianz, Caruso served as executive vice president and global financial services practice leader for Herbert L. Jamison & Co. He was previously with AIG where he served in a variety of roles since 1999.
Most recently, Ilardi was principal and founder of Secura Risk Group. He brings strong technical expertise and management experience on the carrier and brokerage sides. He also has significant technical expertise in claims management gained through senior executive roles at AIG and Crystal & Co.
O'Neill was previously head of international placement for specialty products at Zurich's New York office. She has served the insurance industry for over 15 years in a variety of roles, including legal counsel, product development, underwriting manager and broker.
