AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TQ Delta LLC, a technology development and licensing firm, is pleased to announce that it successfully defeated six petitions by 2Wire, Inc., for inter partes review on patents related to multicarrier communications systems.
In six separate opinions dated May 29, 2015, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) found that petitioner 2Wire had not demonstrated a reasonable likelihood that any challenged claim of the six patents was unpatentable based on the asserted grounds. Therefore, the judges did not institute an inter partes review as to any of the challenged claims. The six patents are U.S. Patent Nos.: 7,292,627; 7,471,721; 8,090,008; 8,073,041; 8,218,610; and 8,355,427.
