TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today GOTrust Technology Inc. (GO-Trust®) announced the immediate availability of cryptographic tokens that meet and exceed the NIST (SP800-157) Derived PIV Credentials Guidelines for mobile devices. The guidelines of derived PIV credential list three removal hardware tokens (SD, UICC (SIM) and USB tokens) along with an embedded secure element option. It also defines FIPS security level 140-2 Level 2 and above for key generation and recommends physical security level 3.
GO-Trust’s SDencrypter is a microSD cryptographic token that meets and surpasses the Derived PIV Credentials specified by NIST for mobile secure elements. It is in stock for instant delivery and works with any Android and Windows mobile devices. A comprehensive SDK is available for system integrators, mobile device manufactures and application developers. GO-Trust also has FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant JetSmart; a QFN packaged High Speed Security Chip using the same crypto chip as SDencrypter for embedding in specialized mobile device including purpose built secure phones.
“The mobile security industry has struggled for years without clear standards and direction.” said Darren Lee, Founder and CEO of GO-Trust. “We are delighted that this year NIST finally defined the rules for Derived PIV credentials and we are even more pleased that we anticipated the security standards and can offer fully compliant mobile security tokens today.”
