Baker has spent years in executive positions in the higher education enrollment industry including serving as the President of Student Aid Services, Inc. and as the Chief Operating Officer for the National Research Center for College & University AdmissionsTM (NRCCUA®). Prior to NRCCUA, Baker served in top executive roles for the employment and career-planning service Monster Worldwide, Inc. As an entrepreneur, Baker co-founded the advisory organization, Making It Count!, which was acquired by Monster in June 2001.
