DLNA to present at the Wi-Fi Symposium: Service Provider Wi-Fi



VidiPath overview and deployment update

DLNA will provide attendees with an overview of its VidiPath Certification Program that enables consumers to use TVs, smartphones, PCs and tablets to view subscription TV content seamlessly throughout the home. Developed with broad industry participation from service providers and consumer electronics manufacturers, VidiPath is the industry’s first Certification Program for HTML5. In addition, VidiPath covers provider-requested, industry standard technologies for content protection, authentication, remote diagnostics, network power save and adaptive delivery.
A compelling economic case for implementing and deploying VidiPath, along with the benefits for Service Providers and CE manufacturers, will be shared by DLNA Board of Director Dr. Stephen Palm. Findings from a new ABI Research study on VidiPath’s anticipated impact and market penetration will also be presented.
DLNA will also conduct product demonstrations of VidiPath at the event.
