Boomerang Commerce Named by Gartner as a Cool Vendor for Digital Commerce, 2015

Retailers Must Stay Price-Competitive Without Being Dragged Into a “Race to the Bottom”

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--()--Boomerang Commerce, an innovator in omni-channel pricing technology, announced today it was named by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in Digital Commerce for 2015. Boomerang Commerce is one of only five vendors named in the Cool Vendors in Digital Commerce, 2015 report1, which is part of Gartner’s annual recognition of innovative companies in key technology sectors.

Each year, Gartner identifies new vendors in key technology areas and publishes a series of research reports recognizing these innovative vendors and their products and services. In the Digital Commerce report, Gartner recognizes five 'Cool Vendors' that are innovative players in payments, mobile, pricing, marketplaces and cloud technologies that can augment or complement enterprises' current digital commerce platforms.

In regard to pricing Gartner noted: “The challenge for many retailers in a world of Internet-driven price transparency is staying price-competitive without being dragged into a 'race to the bottom.'”
