WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On June 1 Kuepa.com, one of Latin America’s leading providers of adult workforce development, will begin offering online courses for students in the United States. This comes as a first step in the company’s US expansion where it plans to open locations in Northern Virginia and Miami.
“We are excited about offering our unique online course to the Latino audience in the US, helping adults to be better prepared for today’s job market by strengthening their key employability competencies,” says Kuepa co-founder Gabriel Sanchez Zinny.
Initial course offerings include GED test preparation, ESL, computer skills, and career skills. The company will also be adding vocational training and certification programs in the future.
“Students of all ages come to Kuepa for different reasons,” says Shanyn Ronis, Chief Operating Officer of Kuepa in the US. “Some want to prepare for a test or improve their interview skills. For others, it’s more fundamental. They might start by learning English, then get their high school degree, and then go on to learn a new profession. People come to improve their lives, and we’re with them every step of the way.”
Through its proprietary platform and blended learning content, Kuepa has trained over 30,000 students throughout Latin America since its founding in 2012. The US expansion will add to its existing presence in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the Dominican Republic.
