SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Great Western Bank today announced the appointment of Steve Lacy, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP), to the Board of Directors of Great Western Bank, effective April 30, 2015.

He is a member of Financial Executives International and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Lacy, a native of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, earned his bachelors and master’s degrees in accounting from Kansas State University. Lacy lives in Des Moines with his wife, Cathy.
