Kroll Bond Rating Agency Announces Addition of Ira Powell as Chief Credit Officer

NEW YORK--()--Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) announced today the appointment of Ira Powell to the role of Chief Credit Officer. Powell will be reporting to Jim Nadler, President and COO of KBRA.

Powell joins from Goldman Sachs where he spent nearly the last 15 years as a Vice President and the Head of Money Market Origination within the Investment Banking Division. Prior to his role at Goldman Sachs, Powell was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch. Powell started his career at Clifford Chance followed by a two year stint at Fitch Ratings as a founding member of their Asset Backed Commercial Paper Group.
