NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Media General, Inc. (“Media General;” NYSE:MEG), its digital studio, production and entertainment company, BiteSizeTV, and FOX Television Stations, Inc. (“FOX Television Stations”) announced a deal to renew BiteSizeTV’s Hollywood Today Live® for the 2015 broadcast season.
Hollywood Today Live is an entertainment news and variety show that brings the best and most outrageous news and celebrity access from its street side studios on the corner of Hollywood and Vine to the world. Following a successful test period for six weeks last summer on select FOX Television Stations, Hollywood Today Live will premier September 14, 2015 on FOX Television Stations and Media General stations in major markets, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. The companies are working together to add new partners in additional markets.
The one-hour program will be produced live in BiteSizeTV’s first-of-its-kind digital studios in Hollywood, CA and air five days a week. BiteSizeTV developed Hollywood Today Live digitally, debuting it along with a full lineup of digital programming in January 2014. Since its launch, Hollywood Today Live has welcomed hundreds of celebrities into its studios and has built a community of actors, musicians, agents and behind the camera talents that provide it great depth, content and visibility.
