Postmedia Launches Content Solutions
for Scalable Native Advertising

New content platform innovates the way advertisers can engage audiences

TORONTO--()--Postmedia today announced the launch of Postmedia Content Solutions, the largest native advertising platform in Canada that allows for sophisticated, highly targeted or simplified campaign executions at both a national and a local level. Combining years of editorial experience with the new Native Network platform and a dedicated team of content experts, Postmedia Content Solutions provides fully scalable advertising campaigns across Postmedia’s vast media network.

Developed in collaboration with digital partner, Polar Mobile Group, the Native Network platform and Postmedia's optimization products allow for easy-to-use, automated native ad executions across all of Postmedia’s trusted brands and provides expertise in social amplification and enhanced campaign measurement. The Postmedia Works team provides clients with customized editorial-style storytelling that remains separate from Postmedia’s editorial team.

Postmedia Content Solutions will also leverage the existing Postmedia Labs team through the ‘communities initiative’, which focuses on increasing sharing amongst the communities they participate in. This, in turn, allows advertisers to create social engagement experiences for their audiences. The combination of these tools and solutions ensure that clients are able to work within their budgets to meet their marketing goals.

“Not only does Postmedia have the largest national reach for our Content Solutions platform, but we can also scale our programs like no other Canadian media company can,” explained Yuri Machado, SVP Integrated Advertising and Strategy at Postmedia. “Our combination of innovation and experience in developing content based programs enables advertisers to efficiently engage the right audiences with the right content.”

Postmedia’s long-standing expertise in native advertising has led to over 500 content-based programs since 2007. Moreover, its leadership in content creation earned Postmedia the 2015 Great Idea Award for Digital Innovation for the Montreal Gazette – Fairmont Resorts Campaign.

“Working with Postmedia on our native advertising campaign for the C2 Montréal Conference has been a great experience,” said Vito Piazza, President of Sid Lee, Toronto. “They consulted and collaborated closely with us to build a native ad program that was tailored to our needs. Their ability to reach our customers through the native network and to scale our campaign across the country to their trusted local brands was a big selling point. They made the entire process, from pitch to execution, very simple.”

To maintain journalistic integrity within Postmedia’s trusted brands, Postmedia Works content creation team will ensure native advertising content is clearly labeled to distinguish between advertising and pure editorial.

The new Native Network will be available on the following Postmedia properties by the end of April 2015:

*Available May 2015
