VISIONS OF TOMORROW Launches with Show of Force

Producers of the award-winning “Half The Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide” and “A Path Appears” Join New Project to Develop Documentary TV Series

SEATTLE--()--New York City-based Emmy and Peabody award-winning media company Show of Force, known for creating innovative feature documentaries, event TV series and groundbreaking transmedia campaigns, has signed on to develop a new multi-platform documentary television event and initiative, VISIONS OF TOMORROWTM.

VISIONS OF TOMORROW undertakes a bold mission: Telling character-driven stories focused on the exploration of groundbreaking scientific solutions to the world’s biggest challenges – from energy, the environment, overpopulation and depletion of natural resources to disease, poverty, extinctions and war.

The VISIONS OF TOMORROW project will feature renowned scientists, engineers, futurists and philosophers.

“We want to help people understand and get engaged with creating solutions for critical global challenges,” says Roger Ressmeyer, the VISIONS OF TOMORROW FOUNDATION’s founder and executive director. “The experts we’re speaking with in VISIONS OF TOMORROW believe and know that a better future is possible, and that many solutions for our planet’s challenges already exist. This series explores these answers and shares a message of hope and empowerment for each of us,” he added.

“We’ve seen how immense impact can be created through the power of story-telling, and we’re excited to partner with VISIONS OF TOMORROW in bringing to the forefront proven, sustainable and scalable solutions to some of the toughest problems we’re currently facing, and inspiring people to take action to make a difference,” says Maro Chermayeff, co-founder and principal of Show of Force.
