MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wrike today announced the second phase of its Dynamic Platform with the release of custom workflows. Now, enterprise users can match their real-life work process with workflows in Wrike that are simple to apply and even easier to use.
Workflows refer to the lifecycle of work as it moves from start to finish. The workflow for a content team publishing a white paper, for instance, could be five steps: content is written, then sent for editing, to design, for approval and finally published.
Next the white paper could be sent to a marketing operations team where the work enters a new cycle, such creating a landing page, setting up marketing automation and preparing to promote the content.
Creative teams typically rely on ad hoc processes, from post-it notes to excel charts, to track the progress of their work's lifecycle because it is very specific to their team goals. Custom workflows eliminates the need for this and allows each team to create their own flow in Wrike, and pass it to the next team who can apply their own unique workflow.
Teams no longer have to create parallel processes outside of their work platform to understand exactly where work is and where it’s going. Wrike is the only collaboration platform in its class to offer workflows that move seamlessly across teams and projects.

Wrike’s Dynamic Platform was originally launched in December with a focus on allowing customers to add their own unique data to Wrike. Since its launch, over 50 percent of customers have adopted it and created over 1700 unique use cases. Today’s announcement builds on the original release with the customization of processes or workflows.
