CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Edifecs, a global health information technology solutions company, will exhibit (booth #1484) at the 2015 HIMSS Annual Conference April 12-16 in Chicago. By leveraging standards, Edifecs is committed to digitally connecting information from patient events taking place across a broad process community. At HIMSS15 Edifecs will highlight how process automation that scales community partnerships can achieve results and be the force for creating pathways to partnerships.
On the Floor: Booth #1484, McCormick Place, Chicago
Emerging models for healthcare transformation are fundamentally dependent on providers, payers and government working collaboratively to address the health and wellness needs of a shared customer: the patient.
Edifecs is showcasing a fully integrated platform capability to perform real-time processing and correlation of both clinical and administrative (HL7 and x12) data transactions. Edifecs Smart Trading provides the electronic capability to connect with trading partners, then ingests the complete library of standard transactions including a full range of HL7, NCPDP and x12 standards. Also on display at the booth will be Edifecs’ population health management, population payment and provider-focused suite of ICD-10 solutions.
“Scaling partnership networks among payers and providers opens the door to an entirely new approach to using healthcare information to serve patients – healthcare’s customers. We are excited to bring forward a unique, new way to harness information and create community partnerships,” said Sunny Singh, CEO of Edifecs.
Beyond the Hall: #HersMeetup at HIMSS15
Edifecs is also supporting an initiative to raise awareness of women in the healthcare industry. A recent report published by XX in Health on the State of Women in Healthcare calls for women to support women, to network and find mentors among female leaders. An invite-only networking event will bring together female industry leaders to help women foster and build connections with other women in healthcare. Also, Edifecs will be donating $1 to BrightPink.org on behalf of anyone who tweets #HersMeetUp to @Edifecs.
“This year at HIMSS we are excited to support all of the innovative minds changing the healthcare technology world for the better, there are so many smart leading women taking charge and making a difference, and we salute them,” said Singh.
