Newly Announced pcProx® Plus Sleeve Reader Unveiled at HIMSS’15

Sleek Badge Reader Design for iPad® miniTM tablets

HIMSS15

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.--()--RF IDeas Inc., today announces its newest addition, the pcProx® Plus Sleeve Reader, to their successful portfolio of badge readers. With over 80% of employees using some type of laptop or tablet to do their business, the pcProx Plus Sleeve reader makes authentication easy while keeping information secure. The Sleeve reader will be revealed in the RF IDeas Booth #3441 at HIMSS’15 in Chicago April 12-16, 2015.

Designed to be used with the iPad® miniTM, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini 3, the pcProx Plus Sleeve Reader snugly connects to these iPad mini tablets. The sleek, ergonomic design of the Sleeve reader maintains the thin style that users expect and includes a convenient carrying strap. This break-through reader design is lightweight and combines proximity (125 kHz) and contactless (13.56 MHz) technologies into one reader.

Security and compliance managers need to ensure that user names and passwords aren’t shared. Authentication is now made easy with the pcProx Plus Sleeve reader which allows the worker to authenticate “on the go.” In a busy healthcare setting, it’s important to go to where the work is, such as doctors and nurses bringing their laptops or tablets into patient rooms, labs, or testing facilities. Signing-in shouldn’t slow anyone down and the pcProx Plus Sleeve reader enables a speedy wave of the employee badge for instantaneous access to patient records and critical information.

RF IDeas will feature hands-on demonstrations of its newest pcProx® high-performance dual frequency reader and more at HIMSS’15 in Booth #3441. Joining RF IDeas in their partner pavilion booth are 2FA, HEALTHCAST, Howard Medical, Imprivata, LRS, MobileDemand, Sharp and UniPrint.
