Odgers Berndtson Names Lisa Quackenbush Partner in New York Financial Services Practice

NEW YORK--()--Odgers Berndtson, a leading executive search and organizational leadership firm, today announced it named Lisa Quackenbush, a prominent search consultant specializing in the financial services industry, Partner in its New York office.

Quackenbush will manage executive search and leadership assessment engagements for the financial services sector, with an emphasis on those engaged in alternative investments, investment banking, and capital markets. In addition to domestic and international board- and C-suite-level search assignments, she will also be responsible for overseeing engagements for senior functional roles, such as Investor Relations and Marketing, and for critical positions such as Portfolio Manager, Senior Credit Analyst, and Research Analyst.

“Lisa’s first-hand knowledge on how financial services firms operate and her insights on the complexities of their cultures and leadership challenges will be invaluable to our clients, particularly when that much-needed business acumen is coupled with such an impressive track record helping sector companies identify and recruit the right candidates to lead their businesses,” said Steve Potter, managing partner for Odgers' U.S. operations.

He added: “Her success as a search consultant is equally predicated on her strong sense of partnership with candidates and clients, personally overseeing all aspects of the search process to build strong, trusted relationships that ultimately lead to better long-term outcomes for candidates and companies alike. We adhere to that approach at Odgers, which is just one more reason we knew she was the right person for our growing financial services practice.”

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Quackenbush was a founding Partner at HQ Partners Executive Search, a boutique firm serving the financial services sector. Earlier, she held a number of senior positions in corporate finance, fixed income sales, and private wealth management at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, among other Wall Street firms.

“Joining the Odgers team will bring enhanced opportunities, both domestically and internationally, to significantly grow my reach within the financial services sector, enabling me to branch out beyond the narrow focus of a boutique firm with respect to the type of search assignments I can deliver,” said Quackenbush. “Odgers has an exceptional reputation and a robust executive search process, which I am excited to leverage for clients.”

Quackenbush is a graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She currently serves as a Trustee and Executive Board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich.
