BLAINE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Horizon DataSys announced today their instant recovery software Drive Vaccine has won the Tech & Learning Award of Excellence and received a major update bolstering it to its fastest and most comprehensive state in the program’s history.
While users may be familiar with Windows system restore and other Microsoft steadystate alternatives such as Reboot Restore Rx, Drive Vaccine version 10.4 is the fastest and most fully protective – even while running updates or making changes to the drive.
“What Drive Vaccine does is make life easier for anyone who just wants to keep their machine as it is right now,” said Lyle Patel, CEO and President of Horizon DataSys. “Drive Vaccine is the best in what it does. It’s faster than anything of its liking, it’s more protective, and it will get any public access computer out of trouble with a simple reboot, logoff, idle time, or set schedule.”
With the new update Drive Vaccine v10.4 now restores to a saved state in 1 second, and has a minimal impact on the speed and size of the hard drive.
“You would be hard-pressed to find a user of ours who notices an impact on computer performance,” Patel said.
The software’s own free Remote Management Console (RMC) has also been fully upgraded to coincide with the new release, offering users a powerful solution to manage thousands of computers from a single PC including the ability to send files, make system changes, remotely manage the machine, issue updates, and many more.
Drive Vaccine works on all Windows OS from 2000 to 8.1.
