INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It is with great sadness that the Anthem Board of Directors announces the death of Board member John H. Short who was tragically killed on April 10 in an aircraft accident in western Idaho.

As former CEO of RehabCare Group, acquired by Kindred Health Care, John Short brought to the Anthem Board deep insight and knowledge of the health care sector, with experience spanning over four decades. He had been an Anthem Board member since September of 2013.
