MasterCard Easy Savings® Program and Rakuten.com Provide Millions of Ways for Small Businesses to Save

Easy Savings also adds BizEquity to its list of participating merchants

PURCHASE, N.Y.--()--MasterCard small business cardholders in the U.S. can now save on more than 20 million products offered on Rakuten.com through an agreement between the MasterCard Easy Savings Program, MasterCard’s automatic rebate program for small businesses and Rakuten.com, one of the world's largest online retail marketplaces.

Rakuten.com is a global e-commerce site that will connect MasterCard Easy Savings Program members to a network of over 5,500 small and large shop owners that sell products in 24 different categories—including office supplies and electronics. Eligible small business cardholders will have the opportunity to earn a three percent rebate on purchases of $250 or less, and a two percent rebate on purchases that are $250 or more.

In addition to its relationship with Rakuten.com, the MasterCard Easy Savings Program has also recently signed an agreement with BizEquity. BizEquity is an online business valuation engine that helps small business owners answer questions about what their business is worth so they are in a better position to grow, reward employees, and pursue proper credit and risk management measures. MasterCard Easy Savings Program members can earn a 25 percent rebate on purchases made on the BizEquity.com site.

“Easy Savings was built to make savings on everyday needs stress-free and simple—all you have to do is use your eligible MasterCard business card,” said Jay Singer, senior vice president, North America commerical products. “With the broad selection of goods and merchants that Rakuten.com offers and the services that BizEquity provides, we can now deliver even more value to our small business cardholders enrolled in the program.”
