As a HIMSS15 presenter, Miller will discuss how health systems can effectively deliver large-scale high-quality initiatives and system upgrades while meeting the needs of the clinical community for continued optimization. The solution is a combined initiative model called Uptimization, which combines optimization projects with upgrades to maximize ROI. Miller and Dulac will share details of how The University of Vermont Medical Center used this model to deliver a major system upgrade with a high-impact optimization project.
The HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition ranks as one of the largest health IT gatherings in the world, with more than 300 peer-reviewed education sessions, a 467,000-square-foot exhibit floor and numerous networking events.
“Presenting at HIMSS is a tremendous honor and a remarkable opportunity to share best practices with colleagues,” said Brian Cahill, Cumberland Consulting Group CEO. “I am thrilled that Chris will be representing Cumberland.”
Proposals under review by the Annual Conference Education Committee have gone through a peer-review selection process for enhanced efficiency and quality in selection of the educational offerings at the conference. The HIMSS Annual Conference Education Committee evaluates and selects all candidates, with those representing an organization or non-commercial interest given preference, a guideline followed to achieve Continuing Medical Education or CME requirements.
“HIMSS is recognized for its quality and relevant programming. At HIMSS15, we will have more than 500 speakers share their expertise during our pre-conference and conference educational sessions,” said JoAnn W. Klinedinst, CPHIMS, PMP, FHIMSS, vice president, professional development, for HIMSS. “I congratulate our HIMSS15 Annual Conference Education Committee that selected our final speakers as well as all presenters who will be part of our extensive and diverse programming schedule.”
