HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--US Shale Solutions Inc. (US Shale) today announced the addition of Mike Stophlet to its senior leadership team. An energy industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, Stophlet joins the company as executive vice president of operations. His responsibilities include leading efforts related to operations excellence, increasing operational efficiencies and developing new ways to address customers’ needs for efficiency and reduced cycle times.
Previous to this position with US Shale, Stophlet has held various leadership roles at national and international companies including President and Chief Executive Officer for ASRC Energy Services, Chief Executive Officer for Stophlet & Associates, Vice President for Mullen Crane and Transport, Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. Energy Development Corporation, and Executive Consultant for Baker Hughes. Stophlet has also held multiple positions at Schlumberger including Geo-Market General Manager - South Texas, Director of Marketing -Europe and Russia, and Geo-Market General Manager – Alaska. His wide range of experience provides a foundation of knowledge to run US Shale’s broad and varied operations.

Mr. Stophlet is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, on the Board of Directors at the Covenant House, and on the Board of Trustees at Catholic Social Services. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at the University of Arkansas.
