In the fall of 2014, JINSA commissioned a high-level delegation of retired U.S. Generals to visit Israel and conduct a balanced, independent assessment of the conduct of the Israeli military and Hamas during the summer 2014 conflict in Gaza. The delegation's landmark report will provide an expert account of conduct during the conflict and offer lessons learned for future U.S. operations against hybrid, non-state forces in urban environments.

The discussion will feature:

General Charles Wald, USAF (ret.)
Former Deputy Commander of United States European
Command (EUCOM)

Lieutenant General Richard Natonski, USMC (ret.)
Former Commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command

Major General Rick Devereaux, USAF (ret.)
Former Director of Operational Planning, Policy, and Strategy - Headquarters Air Force

Major General Mike Jones, USA (ret.)
Former Chief of Staff, U.S. Central Command

Professor Geoffrey Corn
Professor of Law at South Texas College of Law.
Former Army senior law of war expert in the Office of the Judge Advocate General and Chief of the Law of
War Branch in the International Law Division
