Dallas-Based Chain Accelerates Growth Internationally with restaurants now in Canada, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia

DALLAS--()--MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain, is pleased to announce the recent opening of its first restaurant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on February 3, 2015. Located in Riyadh on King Abdul Aziz Branch Road near Exit 5, the restaurant is the fourth new country launch in the Middle East for MOOYAH since September of 2013.

The Riyadh restaurant is owned and operated by Healthy Food Company Ltd., which has entered into a multi-unit development agreement with MENAFEX LLC (MENAFEX), MOOYAH’s international development partner for the Middle East. Healthy Food Company is led by Mr. Fahad Al-Rajhi, President of the company.

"I have tried many better-burger restaurants but I found MOOYAH as the best in its class,” said Mr. Fahad Al-Rajhi. “MOOYAH burgers are delicious and the taste is unbeatable. Since burgers are popular in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia we believe MOOYAH will be the choice of the Saudi people. Founded in Dallas, Texas, MOOYAH has seen strong growth in the last several years, expanding from a Texas brand into a national player and a leader in the growing “better burger” segment of fast-casual dining. The brand is currently in five foreign countries and 15 states. MOOYAH is continuing its strong growth domestically and abroad, with restaurants slated to open in new markets such as Qatar, Oman, and Mexico the first half of 2015.
