ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Videa, a supply-side platform for automated television advertising, today announced that Mary Barnas and Archie Gianunzio have joined the company as vice president of platform adoption and vice president of sales, respectively. They will expand upon Videa’s success in providing advertisers and agencies with direct access to purchasing local television station inventory through the company’s simple and transparent automated platform and its partnerships with local stations and national rep leadership.

With more than 20 years of experience, Barnas will be responsible for working with agencies to provide them with an understanding of the advantages and efficiencies of Videa’s automated products and services as well as managing agencies through platform adoption. She will leverage her expertise as the former head of Cox Cross Media, the new business development unit of Cox Reps, where she focused on building the company’s spot television advertising business. Before Cox Cross Media, Barnas was EVP Director of Local Activation for Carat. Barnas holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and business from College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York City.
Gianunzio will develop strategic partnerships to drive engagement with Videa’s platform and services across local broadcast television groups and national rep firms. Prior to Videa, he served as vice president and director of sales for Cox Reps where he worked with Graham Media Group (formerly Post-Newsweek Stations), to optimize ad sales for broadcast television station groups nationwide. With more than 20 years experience, Gianunzio is a native of Westchester County, New York. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College.
Both Barnas and Gianunzio will report to Brad Smith, senior vice president of revenue and operations at Videa.
