Old Spice Celebrates New Outdoor-Inspired Fresher Collection with Lumberjack-Themed Promotion

Visit Walmart and Enter the “Old Spice Getaway” for a Chance to Win Trip to Lumberjack World Championships

CHICAGO--()--In celebration of National Flannel Day and Old Spice’s newly introduced, nature-inspired Fresher Collection, Old Spice is launching the “Old Spice Getaway” promotion at Walmart – kicking off today with a lumberjack-themed event in Chicago at the North Avenue Walmart.

The Old Spice Fresher Collection harnesses nature’s power to help guys smell manlier and fresher than the great outdoors. Available now at Walmart, the Fresher Collection introduces three new masculine scents – Timber, Citron and Amber, which join Fiji and Denali from the popular Fresh Collection. Inspired by the freshest ingredients in nature, the Fresher Collection helps guys get that fresh outdoor scent all over their body, from anti-perspirant and deodorant to body wash, body spray and shampoo.

Until March 31, customers who purchase Old Spice Fresher Collection products at Walmart locations nationwide can upload their receipts at www.oldspicegetaway.com for a chance to win tickets to the Lumberjack World Championships in Hayward, Wis. on July 23-25, 2015.

Building on the success of the brand’s popular Fresh Collection and delivering what guys want most – fresh, clean scents with names that are easily recognizable – Old Spice recently introduced three new masculine scents inspired by the freshest ingredients in nature, each with descriptive names and scents that guys know and can place, Timber, Amber and Citron. The new Fresher Collection lineup of nature-scented anti-perspirant/deodorants feature P&G’s odor fighting donut technology which releases bursts of fresh scent as sweat occurs and also traps any odor that may form. In more scientific terms, the Old Spice BCD technology features a cyclic molecule with a core that is preloaded with fragrance. As a guy sweats, fragrance is pushed out of the core releasing bursts of fresh scent.
