NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), an advertising technology company elevating brand performance across all screens for the world’s leading brands and publishers, today announced Mark Kalus has joined to lead product strategy and implementation of its demand-side platform, which serves the needs of agencies and trading desks. He is based in the New York office and reports to Kelly Petersen Head of Product at Tremor Video.
“We’re excited for Mark to join the team as we take media buying technology to the next level, across direct and auction supply channels on any device,” said Petersen. “He’ll be solely focused on our buy-side clients’ needs and executing a roadmap that accelerates programmatic success for agencies and trading desks.”
In this role, Kalus will be responsible for developing and managing the product roadmap for media buying across all video channels, including VideoHub DSP – the first fully transparent video DSP to balance price, reach and performance so advertisers can make the most of their investments.

Kalus comes to Tremor Video with over a decade of experience working on data-driven digital media technology. He most recently served as Associate Vice President of Product Management at Sizmek where he oversaw Data and Programmatic strategy and product lines. Prior to that he was Nielsen’s original product leader for Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings (OCR) where he oversaw the product from its early conception through the product launch in 2011. Kalus was also an early employee of HookLogic, a pioneer of ecommerce search advertising, where he oversaw product development for its ad solutions products.
Kalus received an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and Bachelors in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
