DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nectar Omnichannel Marketing (nectarOM), a software company specializing in personalization and omnichannel marketing, announced today that it has named seasoned digital marketer, Bryon Morrison, the company’s President effective February 2nd. Morrison joins the company with more than twenty years of entrepreneurial experience, as well as working with Fortune 500 clients on their digital marketing strategies. As nectarOM’s President, Morrison’s top priorities will be managing the company’s growth engine and client engagement strategies.
Morrison most recently served as President of the Digital Practice in Omnicom agency, The Marketing Arm. In that role he oversaw the turnaround of their mobile marketing company, the creation of their internal production team, their digital shopper marketing strategies and the agency’s own digital consumer engagement approach. Before joining The Marketing Arm, Morrison served as the VP Sales & Marketing for an Omnicom CRM agency, Javelin Direct. Prior to Omnicom, Bryon was a serial entrepreneur developing service and media companies, BrandOps, Springbow, WieseMorr.Interactive, LSMM and Comfidante.
“Bryon has a much deserved reputation as a world-class digital marketer and knows how to work with forward-leaning brands to deliver unique and memorable experiences in every digital channel,” said Amrit Kirpalani, Founder and CEO of nectarOM. “The combination of his experience and our platform’s ability to unify those marketing experiences and their channels on a one-to-one level makes this a perfect fit.”
For three years, nectarOM has been developing a SaaS software platform in Dallas, Texas. The team has worked with notable companies ranging from Fortune 500 brands like Best Buy, Office Depot, PepsiCo, and United Health Group, to eCommerce companies like Shopko and 1000bulbs.com, as well as produce marketer, Avocados from Mexico.
“I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to lead and grow a phenomenal company like nectarOM and get back to my entrepreneurial roots. I’ve looked for omnichannel solutions like this for our clients for several years knowing marketing initiatives would no longer be focused on individual channels like mobile or social, but rather a 360 degree view of the customer,” said Morrison. “I’ve watched nectarOM mature over the years and today I believe they have reached a leadership position that will truly impact a company in a meaningful way. The last time I reviewed their platform I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of the group so I could help make an impact, too.”
Morrison will be based in Dallas, home of nectarOM’s global headquarters.
