NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allison+Partners announced today the addition of Tom Smith as managing director of corporate reputation. In this position, Smith will help support continued expansion of the corporate practice capabilities and clients, providing strategic counsel and leadership. He will report to Matthew Della Croce, a senior partner and head of global corporate, and be based out of the New York office.
Smith brings more than twenty years of experience building brands and protecting corporate reputations. He has served numerous award-winning, multi-million dollar clients in the financial services, technology, professional services, education and healthcare industries and has extensive experience supporting Chinese companies such as Baidu, New Oriental, Fosun, VisionChina Media and Changyou.com.

Prior to joining Allison+Partners, Smith spent more than a decade at Ogilvy PR as an executive vice president leading the firm’s New York corporate practice and advising and guiding numerous clients through the IPO process. His client experience includes State Street, Citizens Bank, HD Supply, BlackRock, iShares, Acquity Group, Grand Canyon University and CFA Institute, among others. Smith received his bachelor's degree in Communications from Marquette University in Milwaukee where he also played Division 1 golf. He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and has been a guest speaker at the NIRI Annual Conference and New York Society of Security Analysts.
