LEHI, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following its recent inclusion on the Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, BodyGuardz is eager to reveal a slew of exciting changes, all of which, will culminate at CES in January.
BodyGuardz earned its inclusion on the prestigious Inc. list (2236) with a yearly company growth of 175%. The honors have continued to roll in, as BodyGuardz was awarded with the prize for Best Screen Protector during CTIA’s iPhone Life magazine “Best Of” show in September.
“We’re very proud of our recent accomplishments,” said Kirk Feller, President and CEO of BodyGuardz. “To once again be included on the Inc. 5000 list is something we do not take for granted. Our award at CTIA was also an honor and a nice cap to a tremendous summer.”
The summertime served as an exciting period for BodyGuardz, as the team welcomed several newcomers aboard. Over the years, BodyGuardz has garnered widespread recognition for its high-end product line, and is looking to strengthen its reputation further with the acquisition of Crux, and its founder, Brian Probst -- whose strong background in design should prove beneficial in his role as Director of Product Development.
BodyGuardz mission to further expand the team didn’t end with Probst however, as Marc Hodson and Shawn Rapier were also welcomed to the company’s Utah offices. Hodson, who was named VP of Sales, comes to BodyGuardz after five years with Skullcandy, where he ran SC’s wireless channel whilst working in conjunction with AT&T and Verizon.
Rapier’s track-record is equally impressive, as he brings with him 18 years of experience, including major roles at BRAVEN and iFrogz. Carving out a noted reputation at several respected organizations, Rapier’s hiring as BodyGuardz’s Executive Vice President is an instant boon to the company.
“We are honored to have Shawn and Marc as well as the other top tier talent we have assembled this year,” said Feller of the new additions joining his existing BodyGuardz team. “We’ve already seen tremendous chemistry within our new team during brainstorm sessions. Although 2014 has been a banner year for us here at BodyGuardz, I look forward with great anticipation for 2015. I can say without hesitation it will be our biggest year yet.”
BodyGuardz has January circled, as it prepares for what promises to be a CES showstopper. Details are being kept hush, but Feller insists the wait will be worth it: “By far our grandest announcements to date,” he says.
In the meantime, BodyGuardz has launched a full line of accessories for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The lineup is available now at www.bodyguardz.com.
