WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tis’ the season for giving and this year BURGERFI is helping customers across the country ‘pay it forward’ with a dollar-for-dollar in-store gift card matching program benefiting the American Red Cross.
Launched earlier this month and valid through Dec. 31, BURGERFI customers have the opportunity to purchase something that is meaningful by giving back to the community and ultimately to better the lives of those in need. BURGERFI’s in-store promotion will result in a minimum donation of $10,000 to the American Red Cross.
According to Achieve’s Millennial Impact report, 87% of millennials donated to a non-profit in 2013 and giving back to those in need is a universal theme during the holidays with charities receiving about 34 percent of all donations during the last three months of the year, according to the Blackbaud Index. In keeping with this trend, BURGERFI is tapping into their target audience, millennials, and generous givers, to help the less fortunate this year with another opportunity to give back this holiday season through their in-store promotion.
