OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vince & Associates Clinical Research, a premier provider of early phase clinical research services to the global biopharmaceutical industry, announced the release of the print publication of scientific data for Dyax Corp.’s (Dyax) DX-2930 monoclonal antibody in a first-in-human study in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
The paper describes the results from the first-in-human clinical study of DX-2930 which met all of its objectives of assessing safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of this investigational drug candidate. Additionally, the data indicates that DX-2930 has a half-life of 17-21 days in humans. DX-2930 is being developed for the prophylactic treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1b study in patients with HAE.
